Description
Dororin is a central character in the film Eiga Soreike! Anpanman Dororin to Bakeru Carnival. He is a resident of Obake Town, a unique place where all things have the ability to transform or change their appearance. The town is hosting a grand Bakeru Carnival, a celebration where those skilled at transformation gather to entertain others with their abilities.

Dororin's main struggle stems from his identity as someone who is unskilled at transforming. In a town where the ability to change one's form is a source of joy and community, his lack of this power makes him feel isolated and unable to fully participate in the festivities. This inability to enjoy the carnival from the bottom of his heart leads to feelings of loneliness and sadness. His personality is not malicious; rather, he is portrayed as a boy who is troubled by his own limitations and left feeling like an outsider during the celebrations.

His primary motivation is born from this sadness. Seeking a solution to his problem, Dororin learns of the Black Cape, a legendary item said to hold the world's greatest powers of transformation. He sets off into the forest to find this cape, hoping it will grant him the ability he lacks.

A key relationship in the story is his friendship with Cream Panda. Despite initially clashing and frequently arguing, the two form a bond as they journey together. Their friendship is central to Dororin's development, as it allows him to move beyond his isolation. The plot further involves the antagonist Baikinman, who also seeks the Black Cape to use its power for his own plans to rule Obake Town. When Baikinman succeeds in obtaining the cape and causes chaos at the carnival, Dororin, alongside Anpanman and Cream Panda, takes on the role of protecting the town. While his initial actions are driven by personal desire, his character development sees him step up to help his new friends and community. Notably, his actions are a source of chaos, as he uses his powers to transform people and objects into carnival-themed versions of themselves, unintentionally creating the central conflict of the film. His notable ability is his capacity for transformation, which he uses in a mischievous manner, and he is considered a playful yet troublesome figure.
