Description
Nagomi, known professionally as 753♡, is a prominent character in the anime 2.5 Dimensional Seduction. She is a 21-year-old professional cosplayer who stands at less than 160 cm tall and has a birthday on November 11th. Her striking everyday appearance features long hair dyed in two tones of purple and pink. As a professional, she works under a dedicated manager with her own costume and photography teams, accepting corporate sponsorships to cosplay characters, often for promotional purposes. Her skill level is such that she can perfectly embody a brand-new character after only a brief review of their background and lines.

Nagomi is recognized as one of the "Four Heavenly Kings of Cosplay" due to her immense popularity and high-level skill. Her journey into cosplay began from a place of deep insecurity. Originally having a heavier figure, she broke a game console and saw her own reflection in the screen, which led to a crisis of self-worth regarding her favorite character, Kai from the otome game Dostrike☆Prince. She resolved that to be worthy of a two-dimensional character she loved, she needed to become a "strongest beautiful girl" herself, and through rigorous self-discipline, she successfully transformed her body and began cosplaying. This deep affection for Kai extends to the real world, as she develops feelings for the male protagonist, Masamune Okumura, because he strongly resembles her beloved character, sometimes privately calling him by Kai's name.

Nagomi's personality is defined by a complex relationship with her passion for cosplay. She describes herself as someone who loves cosplay and all cosplayers above all else. However, after becoming a professional and facing harsh, critical, and often anonymous attacks online accusing her of having "no love for the characters," she became hurt and defensive. This led her to develop a competitive and sometimes antagonistic attitude towards amateur cosplayers who cosplay purely out of love for a single character, as she saw their approach as a challenge to her own professional methods. Her defining mantra, "Winning feels good," reflects this competitive drive. Despite this, she is also forthright, perceptive, and possesses a natural charisma. She remains a food lover who enjoys snacking while relaxing, a trait that persisted even after her significant weight loss.

In the story, Nagomi initially serves as a rival and foil to the protagonist, Ririsa Amano. Their first major encounter is confrontational, as Nagomi questions Ririsa's motivations for cosplaying solely as her favorite character, Liliel. However, witnessing Ririsa's pure, unadulterated joy for cosplay helps Nagomi reconnect with her own初心, or original passion, reminding her that cosplay is meant to be fun. This event serves as a turning point, leading to a reconciliation. Following this, Nagomi becomes a supportive senpai figure to Ririsa, often giving her advice and treating her like an adorable younger sister.

Her key relationships include a long-standing, complicated dynamic with Mayura, another cosplayer. Nagomi sees Mayura as her primary rival, holding a grudge because she felt Mayura "ran away" from competition. Unbeknownst to Nagomi, this rivalry was fueled by her own inferiority complex, as she was always the more popular and successful of the two. Her dual-toned hair is a tribute to Mayura, a style she keeps in hopes of one day collaborating with her again. She also has a strong professional relationship with her manager, Asami Kuraishi, and her dedicated costume designer, Saito. Her distinctive head accessory, which often displays various expressions that change with her mood, is a noted visual quirk.

Nagomi's development arc centers on reconciling her professional career with her personal love for cosplay. She evolves from a wounded artist who has "killed her heart" to protect herself into someone who can once again openly enjoy her craft. Her professional abilities are vast; she excels at posing in complex costumes, can recognize every photographer's face in a large crowd, and has a favorite skill of guessing a cosplayer's real identity behind their costume. Her versatility in portraying a wide range of characters is unmatched within the series. Through her journey, she learns that there is no single right reason to cosplay, whether for love of a character or for the pursuit of professional excellence.
