Nokko-chan, whose real name is Noriko Nonohara, is a main protagonist in Magical Girl Raising Project Restart. She is a fourth-grade student who became a magical girl at the age of four, so she has spent most of her young life in that role and is extremely skilled with her powers. In her everyday life, she cares deeply for her sickly mother and wishes to help cure her illness. Nokko-chan is an emotional and shy person by nature, and she tries to make others as happy as possible. She often spends her time in her magical girl form with her hair dyed, subtly using her abilities to make her own life easier by spreading pleasant feelings around her. Her magic allows her to transfer her own feelings, such as hunger, desires, fear, or happiness, to the people in her immediate vicinity, roughly within a twenty-meter radius. She can also use this power to influence the actions of others, and during the events of the story, she turns other magical girls against one another. In the cyberspace setting, she is a member of the party Team Daisy, alongside Magical Daisy, @NyanNyan, and Genopsyko Yumenoshima. She is not skilled at fighting monsters and leaves that task to her teammates. Nokko-chan is chosen against her will by Keek to take on the role of the Evil King, a player whose objective is to kill all other magical girls in order to win the game. Because she does not have an aggressive personality, she initially sees suicide as a better option than killing fifteen people. Her attempt to make Pfle, Shadow Gale, and Clantail eliminate one another fails, and when she is discovered, she asks them to give a part of their victory prize to her family in the real world. After they agree, Nokko-chan takes her own life, allowing the other magical girls to win the game. Her deep love for her mother and her desire to help her family shape her motivations throughout the story, and her development is marked by a tragic arc from a shy, well-meaning child to a reluctant antagonist who ultimately sacrifices herself for her loved ones.
