Movie
Description
Leonardo Medici Bundle is a primary officer within the antagonistic Dokuga organization, initially commanded by NeoNeros. He consistently displays aristocratic poise, often depicted holding a rose or a glass of red wine, reflecting namesakes Leonardo da Vinci and Lorenzo de' Medici. This cultivated persona extends to his musical preferences, notably selecting "The Blue Danube" as his flagship's combat theme.
His narrative role shifts significantly. After initially opposing the protagonists aboard the Good Thunder, circumstances force a temporary alliance where he and fellow Dokuga officers join the GoShogun team against a greater threat, demonstrating his pragmatic capacity for cooperation despite rivalries. This alliance culminates in a permanent defection; he and the other officers reject NeoNeros and side with the heroes during the climax.
The film sequel, set decades later, explores his character further. He reunites with former allies and rivals at comatose Remy Shimada's bedside. Within the surreal landscape of her subconscious, he joins her psychological battle against death. His cultured badass traits persist—calmly playing piano amidst a violent bar brawl and later commandeering a police motorcycle in a pursuit. His philosophical nature surfaces in dialogue acknowledging Remy's fierce will to live. He fights alongside the group, notably battling back-to-back with former comrade Killy Gagly against shared threats, and demonstrates proficiency with both katana and firearms.
An undercurrent of mutual respect and potential romantic tension exists between him and Remy Shimada, particularly evident in their later encounters. This connection is visually reinforced in supplemental material, such as Yoshitaka Amano's illustrations for the series' novelizations. Physically, he features ochre hair, green eyes, stands 1.85 meters tall, and weighs 72 kilograms.
