The city's inhabitants, depicted as fanatical and visually coded with Middle Eastern influences, pursued them as embodiments of inescapable fate.

Simultaneously, her mind revisited the childhood grave trauma and another near-fatal mission from her youth. In the desert dream narrative, facing a monstrous panther-like manifestation of death itself, she sustained injuries but defiantly strapped her revolver to her broken hand. Using her own gravestone for support, she fired her final bullet to vanquish the beast—symbolically rejecting her predetermined demise. Throughout these ordeals, the unwavering support and camaraderie of her teammates served as a crucial emotional anchor, reinforcing her resilience.
