TV-Series
Description
Alan Igor is the son of General Ross Igor, the commanding officer of the Cyber Beast Force. Born in Central Europe on September 21, 1965, he stands 1.84 meters tall and weighs 72 kilograms, with a known hobby of reading. His relationship with his father is strained, marked by conflict that has existed since his childhood, and he largely taught himself aerial combat techniques.

Throughout much of the story, Alan operates as a mysterious and troubled figure known under the alias of the Black Knight. He forms his own independent unit whose purpose is to secretly come to the aid of the Dancougar team whenever they find themselves in peril, vanishing without leaving a trace after the battle is over. He pilots a transformable combat aircraft called the Black Eagle, also known as the Black Wing, which is capable of transforming into a robot form. His true identity as the general's son is only revealed later in the narrative.

In terms of his role within the story, Alan is initially perceived more as a nuisance than a genuine help by the main characters, though they eventually come to grudgingly accept his assistance. He opposes his father's strategic opinions and believes the battle against the alien Muge Zorbados Empire should be taken directly into space to fight on their own turf, forming his own elite corps based on this philosophy. Alan's personal machine, the Black Wing, is ultimately destroyed near the conclusion of the television series, an event that also results in his death. His legacy continues beyond the original series, as his troops later form a group of rebels known as the Bandits in the sequel OVA God Bless Dancouga, led by his fiancée Laina. His notable abilities include self-taught expertise in aerial combat and skilled piloting of his transformable fighter craft.
