TV-Series
Description
Muu, whose name is written with the characters meaning "void" and "universe", is one of the two main protagonists of the series. He is introduced as a convict serving a prison sentence in the 23rd century. Due to a shortage of qualified pilots for the organization's primary mecha, Rei Midoriyama, the billionaire founder of the private police team known as Circus, offers Muu and his fellow prisoner Maya a deal: in exchange for their freedom and an amnesty, they will pilot the Circus I Galvion, the organization's newest and most powerful transforming vehicle-mecha, to fight against the secret global conspiracy known as Shadow. Muu accepts this arrangement and becomes the primary operator of the Galvion, using it in battle against Shadow's various schemes and weapons.

Regarding his background, it is implied that Muu experienced parental abandonment and was raised in an orphanage, a past that contributes to his personal motivations and his willingness to accept the risky mission in exchange for a second chance at life. His personality is shaped by his status as a former criminal, and his journey in the series involves adapting to his new role as a protector rather than an outlaw. His primary motivation is to earn his freedom and to prove himself capable of operating the powerful machine entrusted to him. He develops a sense of responsibility toward the team and the mission, gradually shifting from a self-interested survivor to a more dedicated member of Circus.

Within the story, Muu serves as the main pilot of the Galvion, which can transform between a high-speed vehicular Road Attacker mode and a humanoid robot form. He is partnered closely with Maya, who co-pilots or supports the Galvion's operations, and the two convicts share a working relationship built on their common predicament and the need to cooperate effectively in combat. Their dynamic is central to the team's operations. Muu also works under the direction of Rei Midoriyama, the strategist and leader of Circus, who recruited them. His key relationships include a developing mutual affection with Terry, a fellow member of the Circus team, which in the originally planned but unaired continuation of the story was intended to culminate in their marriage, reflecting his growth and integration into a more stable life outside of crime.

In terms of notable abilities, Muu is a skilled driver and pilot, capable of handling the complex transformation and combat systems of the Galvion. He is also a competent hand-to-hand combatant and an adaptable fighter, able to operate both the vehicle mode for high-speed pursuits and the robot mode for direct engagements against Shadow's Metal Battler mecha and other war machines. His abilities are largely tied to his role as the lead pilot of Circus's most advanced weapon, and he demonstrates the courage and reflexes necessary to face the escalating threats posed by Shadow. Over the course of the series, he develops from a convict forced into service into a reliable and capable frontline operative, though the series was cut short before his full character arc, which included his romantic relationship with Terry and the resolution of his personal journey, could be completed.
