Ace Baron is a sentient robot from the anime The Brave Fighter of Sun Fighbird, serving as the leader of the Baron Team, a specialized unit within the Space Police Force. He is distinguished as the only member of his team with full consciousness, while the other four members, Drill Baron, Road Baron, Aqua Baron, and Sky Baron, function as drone units that he commands. His role as their leader is central to his identity, and he treats these drones not merely as tools but with the respect a commander might offer to subordinates.
Ace Baron's background is rooted in his duty as a space officer. His primary motivation for joining the Space Police Force was a deep-seated desire to protect order across the universe. This sense of duty drives him to pursue the criminal Draias to Earth. Upon arrival, the energy lifeforms of the Space Police Force, including Ace Baron, took possession of machines created by a human professor named Amano. Ace Baron specifically inhabited a tank, which became his physical form on Earth, and he directed his four drones to inhabit other vehicles.
