Momoko Yamazaki is a news reporter working for Tounishi TV. She first becomes infatuated with Fighbird after witnessing him battle the forces of Draias and seeing him save her from danger. This encounter sparks a personal obsession, and she repeatedly seeks out information about Fighbird, often hounding Kenta Amano for details. However, she remains unaware that Fighbird and his human disguise Yutaro Katori are the same person.
