The Queen is the ruler of Fenarinarsa, the dream kingdom in the sky where fairy tale characters dwell, and the mother of Momo, the princess sent to Earth. Alongside the King, she took part in the decision to send their daughter into the human world after Fenarinarsa had drifted away from Earth and come to face the danger of disappearing because people on the planet had lost their dreams and hopes. Her central motivation is the survival of her homeland and the welfare of her child: the mission given to Momo is meant to help humanity rediscover hope and dreams so that Fenarinarsa can eventually return to Earth.

In La ronde in my dream, the Queen appears as a supporting presence. Her scenes with the King and with the animal companions who accompany Momo, the dog Sindbook, the monkey Mocha, and the bird Pipil, are carried by banter and humor, giving her a warmer and more relaxed presence that contrasts with the serious adventure unfolding in the main story, in which Momo sets out to rescue her human parents from an island where adults are transformed into children. As the queen of the dream kingdom, she belongs to the royal household at the center of Fenarinarsa's magic, including the crown that gathers a jewel each time Momo succeeds in bringing happiness to someone, with twelve jewels needed before the kingdom can be restored to Earth.

Her most important relationships are with the King, her husband and co-ruler, and with Momo, her daughter, whom she has sent away from home on a long and uncertain task out of necessity. The bond between the Queen and Momo is shaped by this separation and by their shared responsibility for the future of Fenarinarsa. The Queen does not drive the events of this particular story and does not undergo a significant personal transformation within it; her function is mainly to ground Momo's identity as the princess of the dream kingdom and to embody the royal authority that set the heroine's journey in motion.
