Miho is a 19-year-old college student living in Tokyo. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Her daily life takes a dark turn when she becomes aware that a strange individual is stalking her. At the same time, her best friend, Azusa, becomes involved with one of their professors. Miho’s role in the story is that of an ordinary young woman who is thrust into a supernatural horror situation. Her primary motivation is survival as she discovers that the professor is not human but a monster with tentacle-like appendages, and that he is connected to a series of murders in which young women are found dead with their bodies dried up. Miho’s key relationship is with Azusa, her best friend, who is more forward and seductive. The two girls must work together to escape the creature after its true nature is revealed. Miho’s development is minimal; she transitions from an unsuspecting student to a frightened fugitive. She possesses no special abilities, relying on her wits and luck to evade the monster.
