Description
Norio Kōrogi is a secondary character in the OVA adaptation of the manga Kōha Ginjirō. He is a middle school student at Tencha Junior High and one of the two main followers, or kobun, of the protagonist, Yamazaki Ginjirō. His name, Kōrogi, means cricket, and he is often referred to by that nickname.
In terms of background, Kōrogi lives an ordinary school life in a Tokyo working-class neighborhood. He is a typical rough-and-tumble boy: he wears his hair cropped short and is almost never seen without his school cap. He dislikes studying and is quick to resort to violence, but he is not a true delinquent. His rough exterior hides a straightforward and honest nature, and he is fundamentally loyal to those he respects.
