During an earlier assault against Seito Academy, Soujin led the attack armed with one of the Hyakuhekitō. In this operation, she attempted a shorts-flashing distraction tactic, which failed according to her own subordinates who cited her "boyish" appearance, highlighting her willingness to employ unconventional methods.

Her role expanded significantly during the Nanban Island events, where she served as one of Kyosho's two representatives in a martial tournament secretly functioning as a trap. Captured by Nanban forces, she identified Teni among the assailants, providing crucial insight into the identity of the enigmatic Kentei, demonstrating her observational acuity.

She also appears at Kyosho during Bachou Mouki's confrontation with Sousou Moutoku, acting as an observer. In the *Western Wolves* OVA series, she features among the cast. Her portrayal remains consistent as a secondary combatant aligned with Kyosho Academy's interests.
