Description
Foll is a dragon girl who becomes a central member of the household in the anime An Archdemon's Dilemma - How to Love Your Elf Bride. She initially appears in a suit of armor as a formidable challenger seeking to defeat the sorcerer Zagan to claim his power and position as an Archdemon. However, her true form is that of a young girl who acts her age, presenting a stark contrast to her earlier intimidating guise.

Foll's background is rooted in desperation for survival. Her determination to gain power stems from a harsh past, a struggle that Zagan recognizes from his own youth. This shared experience allows him to relate to her motivations, seeing in her a reflection of his former self who had to fight for every necessity. Her species, dragons, are noted to be extremely long-lived, even more so than sorcerers and elves.

In terms of personality, Foll struggles with her ingrained hatred for Sacred Sword wielders due to past trauma involving a specific one. This causes conflict when she encounters Chastille, who wields such a sword, even though Chastille is not the individual Foll seeks vengeance against. Despite this, she is capable of forming strong bonds. As she settles into Zagan's castle, she becomes a helpful presence, taking on the role of a foster daughter to both Zagan and Nephy. She is generally sweet and helpful around the castle, acting as a wholesome addition to the main couple's life.

Foll's role in the story is primarily as a new member of the found family dynamic. She provides an opportunity for Zagan and Nephy to explore parental instincts and deepen their household bonds. Her knowledge as a dragon also proves useful on occasion. Her key relationships are with Zagan and Nephy, who become her surrogate parents. Zagan's interactions with her land somewhere between a conventional father-daughter relationship and a mentor-pupil dynamic, characterized by his own sharp-edged pragmatism. Nephy is drawn to Foll's cute side, and together they form a cohesive family unit.

Foll undergoes development from a desperate, lone challenger seeking power to a member of a caring family. Her initial motivation to fight for survival is replaced by a sense of belonging and protection within a household. Her arc involves learning to reconcile her past grievances with her present circumstances. Her notable abilities come from her draconic nature. Despite maintaining a humanoid form, she can manifest dragon limbs, such as arms, to use in physical attacks against her opponents. Her natural power is considerable, as she was a candidate for the position of Archdemon, indicating her high level of strength and magical potential even at her young age. She also possesses the typical draconic trait of high magic resistance.
