Description
Graham is a character from the anime and light novel series My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer. He is an elf and a legendary swordsman known by the title of the Elven Paladin. His physical appearance is that a senior male with green eyes and long grey hair that reaches the length of his chest.

Graham is introduced into the story when he arrives in the sleepy village of Turnera. His sudden appearance shocks the local inhabitants, as such an illustrious figure is not typically found in a remote backwater. The primary reason for his journey to Turnera is to track down a runaway elven princess, who is his great-niece. This warrior princess has a tendency to test her mettle against dangerous demons, and Graham sensed the presence of such a creature near the peaceful town.

In terms of his role in the community, Graham becomes a figure of great power and reliability. When a crisis emerges where the forest near the village becomes sentient and begins attacking people, specifically targeting a young boy named Mit due to his demonic powers, Graham makes a stand to protect the town. Later in the narrative, his relationship with the villagers deepens to the point where the retired adventurer Belgrieve entrusts the protection of Turnera to Graham when Belgrieve must leave on a journey to confront his past and travel to the distant city of Orphen.

Graham’s key relationships are built on mutual respect and a sense of duty. His connection to the elven princess Marguerite is explicitly defined as being her great-uncle, and his search for her is a familial mission. He also forms a significant bond with Belgrieve, the protagonist and father of the S-Rank adventurer Angeline. Belgrieve, who himself is a former adventurer and a father, is motivated to help Graham not only for the sake of protecting his home but also because he empathizes with Graham's situation as a parental figure.

Graham's most notable abilities stem from his status as a legendary swordsman. His title, the Elven Paladin, indicates a high level of combat proficiency, likely blending the characteristic grace and longevity of an elf with the holy or protective skills of a paladin. His senses are also extraordinarily sharp; he was able to detect the presence of a demon near the town where others could not, demonstrating his heightened awareness and experience.
