Description
Jade Lordost is the leader of the Assassin’s Guild and a central figure whose fate becomes deeply intertwined with the protagonist, Lloyd. Known by the epithet the Shadow Wolf Jade or the Phantom Blighted, he is a man defined by a mysterious curse that causes him to vanish and reappear like a shadow, an affliction that also grants him his most notable ability.
His background is that of a noble; he is the third son of the ruling family of the Lordost Territory. Despite his high birth, Jade chose to abandon a life of privilege to oppose the corrupt political machinations of his own relatives who dominated his homeland. He accomplished this by assembling a group of other outcasts and individuals afflicted with curses, known as the Blighted, to form the Assassin’s Guild. As the guild's leader, he is portrayed as a kind-hearted and caring individual, providing a sense of family and direction for its members, including Ren and Galilea.
