Misuzu Kadenokoji is a petite first-year student in Class 1-C at Kyoto Municipal Horikawa Senior High School. She serves on the school library committee with Naomi Katagaki and Ruri Ichigyou, helping run events like the annual secondhand book fair selling donated books.

Her small frame is complemented by pale skin and a bright expression. She has brown eyes and jaw-length reddish-brown hair with curled tips.

Misuzu shines through her friendly, cheerful, and approachable personality. Widely regarded as the school idol due to her cute demeanor and sunny disposition, she endears herself to peers without causing annoyance. She develops a particular fondness for the initially aloof Ruri Ichigyou, eventually becoming her best friend. They engage in activities like shopping together. Misuzu actively supports the developing relationship between Naomi and Ruri, often observing their interactions from a distance and expressing visible excitement, such as squeaking in delight upon witnessing their embrace in the library. She uses affectionate nicknames for Ruri, like "Ruri-rin" or "Ruurii."

During library committee preparations for the book fair, she encourages contributions.
