Description
Leo Shishiō is a brilliant scientist and the father of Guy Shishiō, the main pilot of GaoGaiGar. Recognized as one of the world’s top ten intellects, he serves as the executive supervisor and head of research and development for the Earth defense organization GGG. His expertise spans robotics, artificial intelligence, aerospace engineering, and G‑Stone technology, an energy source brought to Earth by the alien lion Galeon. After Guy was critically injured in a collision with the extraterrestrial EI‑01, Leo used the original G‑Stone to rebuild his son as a powerful cyborg, saving his life and giving him superhuman abilities.
Despite being in his seventies, Leo possesses an exuberant and childlike personality. He speaks with youthful energy, refers to himself as "boku," and dislikes being treated as old. He often zooms around GGG headquarters on a custom‑built jet skate, a device that also serves as an improvised weapon—his so‑called Leo Lariat strike is surprisingly powerful for a man his age. His love for invention extends to whimsical contraptions such as a fully automatic nail clipper and a machine that brews kombu tea, many of which disguise advanced technology.
