Description
Gimlet is the youngest of the three Jointron brothers, a trio of Transformers who can combine to form the giant warrior Tripledacus. As a member of the Maximal faction, he hails from the planet Eukaris, though he later spends considerable time on the planet Gaia. His physical alternate mode is a large, durable red lobster, a form that heavily influences his combat abilities and personality. In some continuities, a falling-out leads him to abandon the Maximals and join the Predacons.
In terms of personality, Gimlet is defined by his relentless optimism and love for celebration. He is a dancing fool who never gets down, even in the worst situations, preferring to party, have a good time, and see what happens next. He is particularly fond of jumping and dancing to the music provided by his older brother, DJ, and his movements are so energetic that his large claws often become a destructive force in confined spaces, clobbering everything around him.
