Description
Oruban, also romanized as Olban in some English-language materials, is one of the central antagonists of the anime Fighting General Daimos. He first appears as the trusted adviser to Leon, the supreme leader of the Baam people, a winged humanoid alien race that has lost its home world and traveled to the solar system seeking a new place to live. During peace negotiations between the Baam and the people of Earth, Leon is poisoned to death. Oruban is responsible for the assassination, which is actually carried out by his subordinate Georiya, and he immediately turns the tragedy into a political weapon, accusing the Earth delegation of murdering their leader.
