Mako Urashima is the main protagonist of the anime Maco the Mermaid. She is a fifteen-year-old mermaid princess and the youngest daughter of the Dragon King, the ruler of the sea world. As a young mermaid, Mako is filled with curiosity about the human world, which she is forbidden to visit by her father.
