Description
Lolo is a green chameleon who appears in the anime Leo the Lion, the sequel series to Jungle Emperor (Kimba the White Lion). He is a supporting character associated with the younger generation of jungle animals, particularly the cubs of Leo and his mate. Lolo is a friend of Rune, Rukio, and Peck, and he serves a role similar to that of Bucky (also called Tommy) from the earlier series. As a chameleon, Lolo possesses the natural ability to change color, which he uses for camouflage and to blend into his surroundings. This trait often proves useful in the group's adventures, offering a means of stealth or escape. Lolo's personality is friendly and loyal, and he is a reliable companion to the other young animals. He participates in the challenges and explorations that the cubs encounter, contributing a calm and supportive presence. Since the narrative arc of Leo the Lion gradually shifts focus to the growth of Leo's son Rune, Lolo is part of the ensemble of friends that assist Rune on his journey toward becoming a confident leader. Lolo does not have a major developmental arc of his own, but he remains a consistent and helpful member of the group throughout the series. His background as a native of the jungle and his unassuming nature make him an approachable figure who helps maintain the camaraderie among the young animals.
