Description
Catherine Vuitton is a character from the anime The Brave Express Might Gaine, where she serves as a recurring antagonist. As the female boss of an international criminal organization known as Pink Cat, she is a thief who operates on a global scale with her all-woman gang, which includes subordinates referred to as Cat Girls and another member named Audrey.

At twenty-nine years old, Catherine possesses what is described as eternal and absolute beauty, a trait she values above almost everything else. Standing 169 centimeters tall, her appearance is striking, and she typically wears a tight black dress complemented by red gloves and gold jewelry. Her character is defined by her vanity, greed, and a deep-seated desire for power and luxury. Her motivation for committing crimes is not typically world domination or standard villainy, but a shallow and self-centered pursuit of beauty, gourmet food, and valuable possessions like jewelry. She is willing to go to great lengths for her whims, such as destroying a large portion of a forest to find an animal for a beauty potion, building an enormous ice castle simply to escape the heat at the expense of innocent people, or attempting to destroy an entire company because she once slipped on their product. In one episode, her pursuit of beauty leads her to seek out the Ring of Saros, only to be disappointed upon learning it is a natural solar eclipse rather than a jewel she can own.

Despite her role as a villain, Catherine has a notable personal connection to the protagonist. Although she constantly schemes against him, she secretly harbors feelings of love for Maito Senpuuji, the pilot of Might Gaine. This personal affection contrasts with her antagonistic actions and adds a layer of complexity to her motivations. Her role in the larger narrative is primarily episodic; she appears in numerous episodes throughout the series as a nuisance who must be dealt with by the heroes, rather than being a central driver of the main plot. Her schemes are often bizarre and self-serving, using robots to carry out thefts or other strange requests, such as wanting an unusually large pumpkin for a carriage. In the various Super Robot Wars video games, Catherine appears as a guest character, representing her origin from this series. Her primary abilities lie in her leadership of the Pink Cat organization and her use of advanced technology, including robots, to execute her elaborate criminal plans. While her character does not undergo a significant transformation or development arc, her relationship with Maito reveals that her villainous actions are sometimes motivated by a misplaced or twisted form of affection.
