Description
Anryū is a fictional character from the anime "Brave King GaoGaiGar Final". She is a Chasseur Super-AI robot, bearing the model number GBR-9, with a name that translates to "Dark Dragon". Her design is that of a female-type combat robot, developed using G-Stone technology and modeled after the earlier units HyōRyū and EnRyū, positioning her as a younger sister figure to those characters.

In terms of personality, Anryū is characterized as being serious and composed, a trait she shares with her fellow robots HyōRyū and FūRyū. This demeanor creates a distinct contrast with her sibling, KōRyū, whose artificial intelligence is described as more childlike. While Anryū is capable of combat and follows orders with precision, she also displays a capacity for joy and familial affection, particularly showing great happiness at the prospect of spending time with her "older brothers" HyōRyū and EnRyū, and is seen enjoying Robo Oil alongside other Super-AI units.

Anryū's primary role in the story is as a support robot for the organization GGG (Gutsy Galaxy Guard). She is first deployed in a mission to retrieve a stolen Q-Part from the criminal syndicate BioNet, operating in Paris alongside her partner KōRyū and the human operative Renais Kerdif Shishōh. Her inexperience is briefly shown during this initial engagement when her missiles miss their target and inadvertently damage the Eiffel Tower, requiring her to be saved by EnRyū. This event highlights that despite her advanced capabilities, she is a relatively new unit learning to operate in the field. Following the mission, she and KōRyū are transferred to the 3G Orbit Base to remain on standby for further operations.

Anryū's most significant relationship is with her sister unit, KōRyū. Together, they are capable of performing a technique known as Symmetrical Docking. When their SympaRate reaches one hundred percent, the two can combine to form the more powerful robot TenRyuJin, whose name means "Heaven Dragon God". This combined form is noted to be the most offensively-oriented among the Symmetrical Docking robots. Beyond her direct partnership with KōRyū, she looks up to the older dragon robots, HyōRyū and EnRyū, considering them her brothers. Her development as a character is subtle, primarily shown through her growing integration into the team and the successful execution of complex maneuvers with her sister, such as the "Dance of Light and Dark," a difficult attack that requires precise calculations.

Anryū possesses several notable abilities and forms. She can perform a system change, transforming from her primary vehicle mode into a humanoid robot mode. In her vehicle mode, she takes the shape of a large black combat truck equipped with two rows of missile launchers, capable of firing an impressive salvo of two hundred and ten missiles in a single shot. Her main attack in robot mode is called the Nightmare Hard Rain, also known as Shellbull Rain or Cherbourg Rain, where she positions and unfolds her launchers to fire a full barrage of missiles. In place of the standard chest attack, she possesses an internal weapon called the Projectile-X Lite, a smaller version of a G-Stone energy weapon designed to overload a target with energy. She also has access to a large shield for defensive purposes, though it is rarely used. Her technical specifications include a height of 20.5 meters, a weight of 235 tons, and a maximum output of 360,000 kilowatts.
