Description
Ojiji Shinobibe is an elderly character from the anime Mashin Hero Wataru who lives in Monja Village at the foot of Soukaizan. He is the grandfather of Himiko Shinobibe, the young leader of the Shinobibe ninja clan, and the adoptive father of Genryusai Shinobibe, Himiko's father. Alongside the elder Obaba Ayashibe, he is one of Monja Village's senior figures, and the pair raised Himiko after Genryusai entrusted his infant daughter to them before leaving on his quest to fight the demon king Doakudar.
Ojiji is better understood as a hermit or sage than as an active ninja, having effectively changed his path from the ninja way to that of a mountain ascetic.
