Description
Koki Nanjo is a second-year Musical Department student at Ayanagi Academy, originally assigned to Team Sazanami. Standing 182 cm tall, he possesses wavy gray hair parted to the right and cardinal red eyes. Born on June 17th, he is a Gemini with AB blood type. He typically wears the standard Ayanagi uniform with his blazer unbuttoned; his training attire includes a black zip hoodie featuring white trims, a signature-colored t-shirt, black pants, and dancing shoes.

Outwardly calm and collected, Nanjo often acts as a counterbalance to his more impulsive teammate, Kitahara Ren. Yet he harbors a distinct competitive drive, especially evident when pursuing coveted roles like Alexis' shadow, and strategically enjoys being underestimated. Polite and charming, he nonetheless finds quiet amusement in others' missteps, such as during fruit-harvesting tasks. He expresses clear self-assurance, stating he is "pleased" with himself and confident he handles things "reasonably well."

During middle school, Nanjo shared classes with Ageha Riku. He served as class representative for his first two years and advanced to vice-president of the student council in his third year. Peers referred to him by nicknames like "Sei," "Kou," or simply "Class Rep." While teachers consistently lauded his academic prowess and leadership, peer assessments varied. He frequently visited his father's workplace, a courthouse, which he admired for its dignified, theater-like ambiance.

Nanjo holds a particular appreciation for unique Southeast Asian cuisine, favoring Thai, Indonesian, and Malaysian dishes and beverages. He professes a dislike for stress, claiming he rarely feels it, and prioritizes sleep despite often getting little. Free time is usually spent with teammates, and he expresses a desire to co-star with Sazanami Sakuya. His training philosophy is pragmatic, believing effort should remain "moderate" since selections proceed regardless.

Throughout the series, he maintains his strategic and observant nature. In Season 3, he navigates the team-free structure of the Ayanagi Festival, concentrating on collaborative performances. His dynamic with Kitahara evolves; Nanjo anticipates Kitahara's increasing seriousness in their second year and plans to "observe" his actions closely.

His musical contributions encompass duets like "REFLECTION" with Kitahara and group performances including "Storytellers" and variants of "Gift" with both Team Sazanami and cross-team ensembles.
