Description
Jirikiman is a magnet-themed killer robot created by the criminal organization BAD and deployed as a temporary weapon for hire. His physical design features a large U-shaped magnet where a human head would be, and his face appears to be constructed from multiple iron plates stacked together. Large letters on his hands indicate the north and south poles of a magnet. He is used by BAD to carry out a specific murder and industrial sabotage contract on behalf of a human client.

His primary motivation is to fulfill the mission assigned by BAD’s leadership, acting as a tool for the organization’s profit-driven crime rental business. He demonstrates no independent personality or personal goals beyond executing orders with ruthless efficiency. He communicates in a commanding, businesslike manner and shows no hesitation in harming civilians or property.

Jirikiman serves as the antagonist in the episode titled “The Insanity Watch Scandal” (the third episode of the series). His target is a factory involved in watch manufacturing, and he is sent to sabotage it and eliminate those who pose a threat to BAD’s client. He confronts the series’ main protagonist, the robot detective K, multiple times during the episode. His relationship with K is purely adversarial; the two engage in a series of battles that culminate in a final confrontation at a scrap yard.

Notable abilities include the power to generate and control magnetic fields. He can attract metallic objects to his body, immobilize or pull vehicles, and project magnetic energy as offensive attacks, such as magnetic missiles and a “murder magnetic ray” from his hands. He can also cling vertically to metal surfaces using the magnets in his hands and feet. However, his magnetic abilities drain his energy over extended use, and he can be defeated if K turns the magnetic pull against him.

Jirikiman does not undergo any character development; he is a one-episode villain who is destroyed by K’s robot-destruction gun at the end of the episode. His role in the story is to illustrate the threat posed by BAD’s rental robots and to provide a formidable opponent that tests K’s investigative and combat skills.
