ONA
Description
Kitsuneesan is a fox who lives in Oshino Mori, the forest community at the heart of the pie-making activities. She has an exceptional sense of smell, and the aroma of freshly baked Pie no Mi is her greatest pleasure. This keen nose led to her being put in charge of the ovens, as she can judge the perfect level of doneness just by sniffing. She is also said to have once caught the scent of the legendary Pie no Mi tree, a rare and coveted fragrance. Her personality is gentle and enthusiastic, with a strong love for all things cute. She is skilled at makeup and particularly treasures the small, round Pie no Mi, which she often carries with her on outings to take selfies. She enjoys posting these photos on social media and receiving positive reactions. Kitsuneesan invented a hand gesture called the Pie no Mi pose, forming a hexagon with her fingers. Her motivation stems from a deep devotion to Pie no Mi as her personal oshi, and she expresses this love through aesthetics, social sharing, and her meticulous work at the factory. Within the story, she serves as one of the many animal residents who contribute to the factory's operations and support the main characters, Pile and Roxy. She appears to get along well with the other forest inhabitants and takes pride in her role as the oven specialist. While the series is ongoing, her character is defined by her sensory expertise, her cute-obsessed hobbies, and her enthusiastic participation in the oshikatsu culture that permeates the forest. Her notable abilities include her refined sense of smell for baked goods, her makeup and photography skills, and her signature hand pose.
