Description
Haruto Bōida is a young home-office programmer and self-identified otaku who idolizes anime’s fictional female characters while avoiding real relationships due to viewing human women as emotionally complex. He purchases Nona, a bishōjo figure modeled after his favorite anime character, who unexpectedly gains autonomous movement and speech. Upon discovering her animation, he immediately focuses curiosity on her "cast-off" design with removable clothing, causing Nona visible embarrassment in a comedic scenario. After resolving initial misunderstandings, they forge an agreement: he aids her exploration of Earth’s "giants" (ordinary humans from her perspective) in exchange for accompanying her mission, establishing their core dynamic. His purchase of the Nona figure exemplifies his otaku-driven willingness to invest heavily in collectibles.
