Pyravian is a phoenix-like Bakugan of the Aurelus faction, recognized as the first Aurelus introduced in the anime. She independently safeguards Vestroia's Power Core. Capable of flying vast distances, she exhibits a protective nature, prioritizing other Bakugan's safety even at personal risk.

In Bakugan Battle Planet, Pyravian approaches Lia Venegas and her allies seeking aid against widespread Bakugan contamination. She later protects Dragonoid and others by inducing a deep sleep within their dreams to shield them from a shape-shifting shadow entity. She covertly monitors the protagonists' activities. Pyravian is revealed as the instigator of the Great Collision, the event bringing Bakugan to Earth. Her proximity uniquely causes sleeping Bakugan to sleepwalk.

During Bakugan: Armored Alliance, antagonist Haavik forcibly fuses Pyravian with the Bakugan Sabrus, creating Sabra x Pyravian. Following Haavik's defeat, the fusion is undone and Pyravian enters an extended recovery within the Maze dimension.

By Bakugan: Geogan Rising, Pyravian assumes a position on Vestroia's governing Supreme Council. She opposes Viloch's proposal to sever the Earth-Vestroia connection and concurs with offering Drago council membership. She participates in neutralizing antagonists like Wrath, facilitating their confinement for rehabilitation.
