The BakuPod is a wrist-mounted device resembling a watch, employed in Bakugan battles within the original series continuity. It projects real-time combat metrics: active Bakugan counts per player, live G-Power levels of all engaged Bakugan, and accrued HSP (Hardcore Player Points) for each brawler.

A slide-open mechanism reveals a numeric keypad and auxiliary controls, expanding functionality beyond combat. This enables video messaging, face-chat communication with other users, and access to worldwide player rankings. The device's color scheme aligns with the brawler's attribute allegiance:
- Pyrus variants exhibit red or light red/orange
- Subterra models adopt orange/white or brown/orange
- Ventus units feature green or jade/green
- Aquos versions display blue or cyan/blue
- Haos designs present white/yellow
- Darkus options incorporate black/purple or purple.

A specialized variant integrates seamlessly into antagonist Masquerade's mask, operating identically to standard BakuPods while remaining concealed.

The device was superseded by the BakuGauntlet in *New Vestroia* and the BakuMeter in *Gundalian Invaders*, concluding its use after *Rebellion Crusade*. Its role, capabilities, or adaptations in the *Battle Planet* timeline and later media remain undocumented.
