Movie
Description
Miranda is the pier master overseeing operations at Old Shore Wharf, the port serving New Island. Her duties involve managing the docks and ensuring traveler safety. When a dangerous storm approaches, she halts all ferry departures and urgently cautions Pokémon trainers determined to sail for New Island. She cites the "Winds of Water," a prophetic legend from ancient texts describing a catastrophic past storm that obliterated nearly all Pokémon. The legend tells that tears shed by the survivors miraculously restored the lost Pokémon, but Miranda stresses no such tears exist now, rendering the waters unsurvivable.
Despite her warnings about the lethal conditions, several trainers insist on proceeding. Miranda acknowledges their resolve as a quality worthy of future Pokémon Masters and wishes them luck before they depart. Following the events on New Island involving Mewtwo's cloning scheme and the subsequent memory alteration of all witnesses, Miranda resumes her duties at the wharf. She voices relief that normal operations have returned, indicating no recollection of the incident.
Her dialogue in the English-language film features a slight, unspecified accent.
