Description
Nurse Joy from Old Shore Wharf worked at the local Pokémon Center until Mewtwo abducted her to New Island. Mewtwo exploited her specialized expertise in Pokémon physiology and medical care to advance his cloning operations and biological research. Psychic manipulation altered her memories, making her believe she had always served Mewtwo on the island. As his liaison, she delivered holographic invitations to trainers, greeted arrivals at the palace, and concealed Mewtwo’s presence and intentions. Her standard nurse uniform was replaced by a red dress and hat, hiding her recognizable appearance.
During the trainers' confrontation, Mewtwo released his psychic hold, revealing her true identity. Awakening in visible confusion and distress, she questioned her surroundings. Mewtwo openly admitted exploiting her skills and confirmed impending memory erasure. After the battle and Mewtwo’s change of heart, she returned to Old Shore Wharf alongside other humans. Mewtwo erased all her memories of the New Island events. She resumed duties at the Pokémon Center, sheltering trainers during a storm with no recollection of her forced service to Mewtwo.
