Description
From Planet Rainbow, one individual embodies multiple identities: Yuni, the space idol Mao, the phantom thief Blue Cat, and the warrior Cure Cosmo. After witnessing Aiwarn's Dark Pen experiment petrify her planet's inhabitants—including Queen Olyfio—and trigger the looting of its treasures, Yuni became the sole survivor. To revive her world, she adopted aliases: Mao gathers intelligence through her idol persona, Blue Cat retrieves stolen artifacts and Star Color Pens, and Bakenyan (posing as Aiwarn's butler) infiltrates the Notraiders to uncover their schemes.

Yuni’s natural form resembles a humanoid cat with cream fur, twin-tailed blue hair, visible cat ears, a black tail, and gold claws. As Mao, she appears human with lavender hair, lime-green eyes, and a pink dress using pearl accessories to hide her ears. Blue Cat manifests with lighter blue braided hair, a top hat, blue glasses, and a dark blue tailcoat—retaining visible ears and tail—and dons a blue winter jacket with white fur trim. Cure Cosmo brightens her hair to neon blue with magenta streaks, adds a small blue top hat accessory, shifts her eyes to orange, and wears a rainbow-pleated skirt with a translucent pink cape, plus a light blue ring on her tail.

Mao projects a calculatedly cute, friendly facade for cover, while Blue Cat employs cunning tactics like fireworks or bartering, earning a reputation for flawless success. Underneath, Yuni isolates herself from guilt over her planet's fall, rejecting aid and blaming herself for failures, while retaining thieving habits from her phantom thief role. Though morally ambiguous—merging heroic goals with theft—she gradually accepts friendship, aids others (including former foes like Aiwarn), overcomes prejudice, and bonds deeply with Fuwa (sharing Rainbow Ore stories to soothe its hunger) and Hikaru (whom she initially dismisses but later respects).

Her story collides with the Cures when, as Mao, she manipulates Prunce’s admiration to steal a Princess Star Color Pen at an auction. After briefly aiding them against Aiwarn, she steals Fuwa and the Pens, fleeing to Planet Rainbow. A confrontation exposes her feline form and origins. During a battle against Aiwarn, her determination to protect the Cures inspires Fuwa to grant her a Star Color Pendant and Pen, triggering her Cure Cosmo transformation. Wielding Rainbow Perfume for attacks like "Cosmo Shining" and "Rainbow Splash," she later purifies Aiwarn of Darknest’s influence. After her spaceship is stolen, she joins the Cures on Earth, discarding her thief identity and revealing her true name.

Key relationships define her arc: Aiwarn, initially despised for destroying Planet Rainbow, becomes someone Yuni saves and reconciles with, accepting her into the restored society. Fuwa evolves from a revival tool to a cherished companion, catalyzing Yuni’s Cure Cosmo transformation. Prunce, betrayed by Mao’s theft, forgives her after she joins the team. Hikaru’s steadfast friendship helps Yuni shed her isolation.

In her conclusion, Yuni resurrects Planet Rainbow. The epilogue shows her living there with Olyfio, watching Hikaru’s space launch while maintaining bonds with the Cures and reassuring Lala of future reunions.
