His attire includes a dark blue shirt with a white bow tie, a gold-clasped black overcoat, gray trousers, and black boots. He perpetually carries a perfectly balanced tea set.

Maintaining a stoic, calm demeanor, he observes conflicts silently while demonstrating unwavering loyalty to Aiwarn. He accompanies her on missions as advisor and caretaker, yet criticizes her reckless decisions—particularly her experiments with Dark Pens. This friction creates tension, though he persists in his duties.

During a confrontation on Planet Rainbow, Fuwa identifies Bakenyan’s scent as matching Blue Cat—a phantom thief identity used by Yuni. This confirms Bakenyan is Yuni’s disguise, maintained through special perfume to infiltrate the Notraiders for intelligence gathering. The persona replicates Hakkenyan, Yuni’s friend from Planet Rainbow, borrowing his young-adult appearance to covertly monitor Aiwarn’s activities. Yuni’s goal is reversing the petrification of her people, caused by Aiwarn’s experiments.

Throughout operations, Bakenyan aids Aiwarn in corrupting Princess Star Color Pens into Dark Pens and summons Nottorei foot soldiers. He consistently avoids direct combat with Pretty Cure warriors. In critical moments, he dissuades Aiwarn from fusing with other commanders into a Nottoriga, warning of power incompatibility. His tactical disappearances during battles and subtle reactions—like cryptic smiles during retreats—later align with his covert role.

After exposure, Yuni retires the Bakenyan disguise. Hakkenyan, the individual whose likeness was replicated, remains alive and is acknowledged as Yuni’s pre-existing friend.
