Description
Mayu Biwajima, a reserved middle school student, develops an unexpected infatuation with her teacher after he encourages her passion for creating Boys’ Love art. Her ancestry ties her to Onabe, a concubine of Oda Nobunaga, weaving a thread of historical legacy into her story. Shy and introverted by nature, Mayu’s composure fractures when physical contact with the teacher triggers a trance-like state of intense longing—a hereditary echo of her ancestor’s unresolved yearning tied to a forbidden historical romance. This inherited tension finds resolution only when Mayu recreates the ancestral scene through her artwork, mirroring Onabe’s catharsis.
Her quiet determination intensifies after her friend Anna initiates a playful competition among classmates to win the teacher’s affection, culminating in a bold but non-explicit classroom confrontation where Mayu sheds her inhibitions. Though she initially vows to confess her feelings post-graduation, her actions grow increasingly assertive. Complex dynamics with peers, including tensions rooted in her ancestor’s rivalry with Ikoma Kitsuno, further drive her personal growth and entanglement in the evolving narrative.
