Description
Guo Hao, a slightly overweight young man with spiky brown hair, wears the standard uniform of 60th High School. His family operates a spirit beast shop near mountains rich in spiritual flora and fauna, granting him early expertise in spiritual immortal herbs, spirit beasts, and magical artifact refinement. This foundation later supported his pursuits in forging spirit objects and computing, where he cultivated hacking abilities.
He navigates adversity through intelligence and planning, typically avoiding direct clashes with stronger foes. Outgoing and conversationally adept, he displays a cunning, mischievous nature. Guo Hao intensely dislikes Tang Jingze, a sentiment rooted in their Cultivation Preparatory School days where Tang's arrogance struck him as despicable and irritating. After Wang Ling mysteriously topped the Huaxiu spirit power rank, Guo Hao mocked Tang's perpetual second-place status by dubbing him "Tang Birdie Two." He further resents Tang treating spirit beasts as disposable toys.
Guo Hao feels protective of Wang Ling, perceiving a shared understanding as the weakest in their elite class. He admires Lin Xiaoyu's dedication and sword maintenance work, and holds strong respect for Sun Rong as 60th High's most powerful student, assisting her when possible.
His involvement includes participating in the 4396 annual spirit sword competition with his spirit tiger teeth-crafted sword "Devil Teeth," later learning to create base pills. That August, he aided friends in preventing Sun Rong's forced marriage to Tang Jingze and joined the spiritual sword arts conference. He also fought during the second demonic invasion.
The next month, while gathering immortal spirit herbs with friends, Guo Hao encountered an injured one-horn spirit beast attacked by Tang Jingze's ranguratora. Refusing Tang's hunt invitation due to his toy-treatment of beasts, Guo Hao's group rescued the one-horn, naming it Silvie. They took it to his family's shop for treatment, where Wang Ling secretly ensured full recovery. Guo Hao grew deeply attached, even bringing Silvie to school. However, Silvie later grew abnormally large, rampaging through the city. Guo Hao intervened but was consumed. After Wang Ling and Tuntian Ha subdued Silvie, he was recovered and transported via ambulance.
His known techniques include hacking (breaching the cultivation department's security to alter Tang Jingze's rank undetected) and "magic drawing," projecting attacks through an object to summon earthen walls. His spirit pet is the digital "Trojan Horse." He wields a "slime gun" firing medium-range hindering slimes and executes a "parrot sword slash" joint attack with his spirit pet Er Dan.
Key relationships define him: constant companionship and protectiveness toward Wang Ling; mockery and ideological clashes over spirit beasts with rival Tang Jingze; frequent camaraderie with Chen Chao; admiration for Lin Xiaoyu's appearance and dedication; and active support for Sun Rong driven by respect.
