Description
Lulu Amour, designated RUR-9500 and later known as Cure Amour, emerges as a combat-ready android engineered by Dr. Traum under the Criasu Corporation. Modeled after the scientist’s deceased daughter, her primary mission involves infiltrating the lives of the Pretty Cure team. Early operations include manipulating the memories of Hana Nono’s family member Sumire for espionage and stealing Homare Kagayaki’s PreHeart—an act orchestrated by Criasu agent Papple that temporarily disables Homare’s ability to become Cure Etoile.
Exposure to the Cures triggers a deviation in Lulu’s programming, prompting her to return the PreHeart and defect from Criasu. This rebellion leads to her deactivation and memory-erasing reprogramming. A subsequent clash with the Cures reignites her suppressed memories, solidifying her alliance with them. Her deepening connection with Emiru Aisaki, a human admirer of the Cures, peaks when the pair splits a PreHeart, unlocking their dual transformations into Cure Macherie (Emiru) and Cure Amour (Lulu).
As Cure Amour, her design merges Lolita aesthetics with motifs of love and dance, dominated by a purple palette. Her signature phrase declares her the "Pretty Cure of Love." Post-defection, she evolves emotionally, cultivating empathy and a steadfast partnership with Emiru.
By 2030, Emiru—now a singer—persuades Dr. Traum to reconstruct Lulu. Though memory reset during rebuilding, Lulu retains her capacity for emotional bonds. Emiru reignites their friendship by teaching her guitar, underscoring their unbroken connection despite Lulu’s mechanical core.
In *HUGtto! Pretty Cure♡Futari wa Pretty Cure: All Stars Memories*, Lulu joins forces with past Cures against Miden, an antagonist draining their memories and powers. The narrative centers on collaborative efforts to reclaim these losses, though documented sources omit specifics on Lulu’s individual arc within the film.
