Karita Hazuki, also known as Hazuki Karita, was a former Olympic judo competitor recognized for his world-level skills. He possesses a very tall, extremely muscular build with rough features and typically wears his judogi. His first name "Hazuki" refers to the eighth month in the former Japanese lunisolar calendar, roughly September, but he dislikes being called by it, perceiving it as feminine.
Unlike most participants in the survival project, Karita was informed by his parents about the cryogenic preservation plan and voluntarily entered the program after bidding farewell to his family. His personality combines physical reliability with emotional vulnerability; while not highly intelligent, he occasionally offers simple solutions to complex problems and serves as a dependable pillar for his team, especially for physical tasks.
