He first appeared in the Pseudo Universe to save Goku from the Crimson-Masked Saiyan, later fighting alongside Goku and Vegeta against Crimson. Afterward, he reported the Pseudo Universe's destruction to Aeos, confirming he saved his son. The Future Warrior in Black originates from a timeline where Future Gohan failed to protect Future Trunks and Future Bulma from the Androids, leading to their deaths. Consumed by survivor's guilt and self-loathing over his perceived weakness, he accepted Aeos' offer of Dark Dragon Ball enhancement. This power became his sole focus, leading him to adopt his new identity and sever ties with his past. During the Supreme Kai of Time Saga, the Warriors in Black restrained Chronoa to prevent interference with Aeos' plans. They participated in the Super Space-Time Tournament, announcing rules and competing in the second round. The Future Warrior in Black confronted Super Saiyan God Xeno Trunks in a ruined cityscape mirroring his apocalyptic timeline. Discarding his cloak and mask, he revealed himself as Future Gohan, recounted his tragic past, and declared strength his only remaining value, wielding Dark Dragon Ball-enhanced Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2 transformations.
