The scientist Fu, experimenting across space-time, discovered Cumber and summoned him to the present using the Dragon Balls. Fu imprisoned Cumber within the Core Area of the Prison Planet, confining him in a power-sealing straitjacket to study his unique Evil Aura. He possesses a towering, muscular physique, long spiky black hair reaching his thighs, red irises, and a visible Saiyan tail. While restrained by Fu, he wore a white metallic straitjacket bearing Fu's insignia, a mask covering his mouth, and lacked visible pupils. After breaking free, his attire became a red sleeveless shirt, blue baggy pants, white boots, metallic shoulder and wrist guards, and a fragment of the mask remained over his mouth, revealing a scar on his jawline. His personality embodies extreme Saiyan savagery, violence, and an unrelenting drive to battle strong opponents, disregarding personal risk or injury. He shows respect for adversaries matching or surpassing his strength, particularly fellow Saiyans, and may not be inherently malevolent despite his moniker. His Evil Aura corrupts other beings, inducing temporary berserk states. During the Prison Planet Saga, Cumber escaped confinement and immediately targeted Goku and Vegeta. His Evil Aura corrupted Goku, turning him berserk against Vegeta. Following Cooler's intervention, Cumber broke his restraints, overpowering Goku, Vegeta, and Cooler. This forced Goku and Vegeta to fuse into Vegito Blue, who initially matched Cumber. Cumber then transformed into a Golden Great Ape, overwhelming Vegito and causing his defusion. Fu intervened to subdue Cumber, ending the rampage. In the Universal Conflict Saga, Cumber confronted Top and Dyspo in Universe 11, defeating them in his Super Saiyan 3 form. He briefly fought Jiren, acknowledging their equal strength before Hearts redirected him to Universe 3. There, he battled Meta-Cooler, transforming into Super Saiyan 3 Full Power. He subsequently helped hold off Broly to enable Goku and Vegeta to confront Dark Fu, disappearing with Broly into the universal tree during their clash. His abilities encompass flight, energy blasts, and unique techniques like the Désastre Eraser (a dark energy wave) and Désastre Claw. His Evil Aura corrupts minds and amplifies his power.
