Description
Tatsuya Kiyama, originally named Hiroto in the main timeline, retains the name Tatsuya in the alternate timeline established by *Inazuma Eleven: Ares no Tenbin* following the survival of the real Kira Hiroto. He originates from the Sun Garden orphanage, residing there with other children who later joined Aliea Gakuen, with possible abandonment leading to his orphan status. During a visit by Kira Seijirou to the orphanage in the original timeline, Seijirou perceived a resemblance to his deceased son and bestowed the name "Hiroto" upon him; this naming event did not occur in the Ares/Orion continuity.

In *Inazuma Eleven: Ares no Tenbin*, Tatsuya is the forward, captain, and number 10 jersey wearer for Eisei Gakuen. He is an exceptional ace striker utilizing meteor-like shots, pursuing the childhood dream of elevating Japanese soccer and earning deep trust from teammates. His solo Hissatsu technique is **Ryuusei Blade**, a meteor-like shot executed by kicking the ball into the air, enveloping it in blue energy, and striking it with a powerful atomic energy-infused roundhouse kick. He also performs the combination Hissatsu **Cosmic Blaster** with Kira Hiroto, a coordinated maneuver involving sequential kicks that generate a large black hole culminating in a powerful blast at the goal.

Transitioning to *Inazuma Eleven: Orion no Kokuin*, Tatsuya joins the Japan national team, Inazuma Japan, as a midfielder and defender wearing the number 15 jersey. His role includes defensive responsibilities, demonstrated by his participation in the combination Hissatsu technique **KARAKURA Dimension** with Nishikage Seiya and Mizukamiya Seiryuu, which creates a dome shield of crystal diamonds capable of reflecting and neutralizing incoming shots. He participates in critical Football Frontier International (FFI) matches, including against Uzbekistan's Eternal Dancers in episode 9, where he is substituted by Nosaka Yuuma in the second half following Nosaka's return from brain surgery.

Tatsuya's personality is initially portrayed as mysterious and observant, seen secretly watching Raimon's matches. Underlying this is a caring nature, particularly for his orphanage siblings and a reluctance to endanger teammates, shown by his hesitation to use harmful power-enhancing limiters during the original series' Aliea arc. His coordination of complex combination techniques like KARAKURA Dimension and Cosmic Blaster within Inazuma Japan reflects teamwork, adaptability, and proficiency in high-pressure situations.
