Description
Milo, formally known as Miro de Escorpião, serves as the Scorpio Gold Saint guarding Athena’s eighth temple. He attained this rank exceptionally early, receiving his Gold Cloth at age seven. His personality blends pride in his role with a strong sense of honor and nobility. He frequently defends fellow Gold Saints' reputations and shows respect in combat, offering opponents surrender before deploying his excruciating Scarlet Needle technique. Despite his confidence, he acknowledges defeat against adversaries he deems worthy, even if technically weaker. He maintains a notable friendship with Aquarius Camus, demonstrated through their coordinated battle tactics.

In *Saint Seiya: Episode G*, his younger self displays immaturity marked by aggression and resentment toward Leo Aiolia, stemming from Aiolia's association with his traitor-branded brother Aiolos. This attitude evolves during conflicts against foes like the revived Trojan hero Hector and the Titans' giants. He participates in the Titanomachy, collaborating with Camus, Virgo Shaka, and Capricorn Shura against entities such as Margarites Drakon. Camus devises a strategy leveraging Milo’s Scarlet Needle to breach the dragon’s barrier, culminating in their joint destruction of the beast.

Within *Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō*, he operates during Gemini Saga’s impersonation of the Pope. He intervenes to save Equuleus Shōko from Eris, Goddess of Discord, later confronting her forces directly. Accepting a papal mission, he investigates disturbances in the Garden of Eden, battling Eris’s Dryad spirits. He defeats Dryad Murder Phonos and engages Ruin Atë, surpassing her speed to land his Scarlet Needle: Antares. After Atë’s sudden death by fallen Silver Saint Orion Rigel, Milo debates Rigel on justice and sacrifice before clashing with him cosmically. He then reports Eris’s defeat and the Saintia’s involvement to the Sanctuary. Later, he attends a papal assembly addressing Saori Kido (Athena) and her allies, sensing impending internal turmoil.

In the classic Sanctuary arc, he tests Cygnus Hyōga at the Scorpio Temple. After overwhelming Hyōga with Scarlet Needle strikes, he recognizes the Bronze Saint’s determination when Hyōga crawls onward despite near-fatal injuries. Milo concedes upon realizing Hyōga’s Aurora Thunder Attack simultaneously targeted his Gold Cloth’s weak points. He tends to Hyōga’s wounds, permits passage, and later atones by repairing the Cygnus Cloth with his own blood.
