Description
Hablog, known alternatively as Haborugu or affectionately as Uncle Habo among Belchero Orphanage's children, stands as a prominent Black Whistle cave raider celebrated for exploration achievements and mentorship. His tall, bulky frame, full beard, and dark gray eyes complement distinctive attire: a lamp-equipped wide-brim hat, brown coat, and darker shirt, setting him apart from typical raiders.

He maintains deep ties to Belchero Orphanage, supporting orphans like Riko, Nat, and Shiggy. Married to Laffi, a spice shop proprietor in Orth, Hablog corresponds with her during expeditions. After Lyza’s disappearance, he delivered her White Whistle and final notes to the surface—an act that ignited Riko’s resolve to descend. Later, as General Leader of a joint second-layer delving operation, his team discovered a pentagonal hole brimming with artifacts and an enigmatic relic necessitating Ozen’s analysis.

When Riko and Reg embarked on an unsanctioned journey, Hablog pursued them into the first layer. Rather than forcibly retrieving them, he furnished supplies, Tachikiri Fever medicine, and Ozen-related warnings before permitting their continued descent after they refused his escort to Seeker Camp. He mentors novice raiders, recommending promotions and sharing expertise on White Whistles and Abyss perils.

Despite his size, Hablog demonstrates augmented speed for rapid pursuits. His proficiencies encompass leading large expeditions, strategic planning, and exhaustive knowledge of Abyss layers and relics. Kind, curious, and protective, he balances encouragement with pragmatic survival advice—emphasizing retreat when essential.

In subsequent events, he probed a failed antidote research project, cautioning new raiders about dubious quests, and managed relic retrievals for deceased colleagues to preserve explorers’ legacies. His scholarly intrigue extends to the "Song of Hariyomari" fairy tale and its potential links to the Abyss’s mysteries.
