Description
Yi Lin is a Guangzhou fashion model whose career is threatened by the rise of younger rival Shui Jing. This intensifies Yi Lin's deep-seated insecurities about aging in the industry, driving her to extreme measures to preserve her looks and status. Her work obsession strains her relationship with her younger sister, Lulu, a clothing design student financially dependent on Yi Lin. Despite providing support, Yi Lin grows emotionally distant, neglecting their bond.

Exhaustion culminates in Yi Lin collapsing during a fashion show, causing an injury that forces her to reassess her career. Contemplating leaving modeling, she asks Lulu to teach her design, triggering an argument that reveals Lulu's frustration at being overlooked and her hidden wish to design specifically for Yi Lin. After this conflict, Yi Lin's manager arranges a meeting at an abandoned factory. There, Lulu surprises her with a custom-made red dress—a color secretly favored by Yi Lin since childhood but never shared.

Inspired, Yi Lin participates in an impromptu fashion show at the factory wearing the red dress, successfully revitalizing her career by merging modeling with Lulu's designs. This collaboration repairs their sisterly relationship and marks Yi Lin's professional reinvention. She returns to prominence modeling Lulu's creations full-time, symbolizing a shift from individual ambition to a partnership rooted in mutual support and shared history. Her journey reflects themes of professional reinvention and reconciling personal bonds under pressure.
