Despite her destructive approach, she retains compassion, especially toward children, rooted in her past as a teacher and Anti-Skill trainee. Her motivation for mercenary work stems from a desire to directly aid people suffering in war zones. She deeply values her partnership with Chimitsu, considering him a close friend. Originating from Academy City, Stephanie received Anti-Skill training in esper containment combat routines. Disillusionment with the city's controlled environment led her to leave, seeking tangible impact in conflict areas. Her first mercenary assignment in Costa Rica nearly ended in disaster until Chimitsu saved her, forging their enduring partnership. He frequently guided her to mitigate risks. Later, in the DRAGON Arc, Platinaburg hired her to assassinate Accelerator as revenge for Academy City's Independence Day insurgencies, which left Chimitsu comatose. Discovering Platinaburg implanted a transmitter in Chimitsu to manipulate him, she killed Platinaburg instead. She fought through 200 guards and lured Kinuhata Saiai by exploiting her nitrogen-dependent ability.
