He maintains a typically friendly and easygoing demeanor, often engaging in comedic interactions where he serves as the straight man to his brother, Gao Granner Blue Ptera. Both brothers possess a strong sense of justice and share the goal of protecting Earth.

Over 70,000,000 years ago, during their existence as dinosaurs, Red Ptera and Blue Ptera formed a close friendship with Gao Granner Tyranno, establishing a comedy unit together. The two pteranodons were bound by an ancient contract to serve as guardians for the Spinewger entity Hachidoridon, though this contract expired upon their awakening in the modern era.

When Clutch of the Dark Spinner summoned Hachidoridon, he forcibly injected Red Ptera and Blue Ptera with Dark Energy to renew their guardianship, causing them to fall under control and attack. Their old friend, the resurrected Gao Granner Tyranno, intervened to free them. Recognizing their shared purpose, Red Ptera and Blue Ptera then willingly joined Tyranno in combat against the Spinewger threat. This alliance resulted in a Bond Combination Full Custom that defeated Hachidoridon.

Red Ptera possesses the capability to combine with other Gao Granners, including Earth Granner Tyranno Tops and Earth Granner Leo Cheetah, demonstrating versatile combat formations alongside his allies.
