Mrs. Mole appears in Episode 11 ("Mole Life"). She belongs to an underground mole community and shares a subterranean home with her husband, Mr. Mole. They are the parents of Leonard. When the protagonist Naoko Watanabe encounters Leonard and learns about the moles' way of life, she becomes interested in exploring their underground existence. Mrs. Mole's role occurs within this family context as Naoko discovers the mole family's home.
