Description
Tsubame's Mother is a renowned movie star from a wealthy family that expects Tsubame to pursue acting. She actively steers Tsubame away from animation, explicitly banning her from the school's anime club to uphold the family's performing arts legacy. While largely absent from Tsubame's daily life, contrasting with Midori's family, she attends the cultural festival screening of Eizouken's robot anime. There, she recognizes subtle personal details in Tsubame's animation: characters holding chopsticks exactly like Tsubame and a tea-tossing scene inspired by Tsubame's grandmother. Witnessing this dedication and skill leads her to acknowledge Tsubame's passion. She ultimately accepts Tsubame's career choice, explicitly validating animation as legitimate performance art by stating Tsubame is "already a fine performer."
