Description
Goh's Raboot began as a wild Scorbunny surviving in Wyndon, Galar, by stealing food. It led a group of Nickit, teaching them covert theft techniques. This Scorbunny first crossed paths with Ash and Goh after the Nickit stole Ash's bag. Following a defeat by Pikachu, Goh defended Scorbunny by falsely claiming ownership to a café owner, deeply inspiring the Pokémon. Though initially hesitant to abandon its Nickit companions, they urged it to follow Goh. Scorbunny boarded a train with the trainers, ultimately becoming Goh's first Pokémon partner.

As Scorbunny, it displayed an enthusiastic, mischievous, and attention-seeking nature. It frequently teased Ash and enjoyed kicking pebbles like footballs. A close bond formed with Goh, often celebrated with foot-high-fives. Conflict arose when Scorbunny persistently tried to master a Fire-type move like Ember, which Goh discouraged out of concern, believing its existing Quick Attack and Double Kick were sufficient. This disagreement strained their relationship, culminating in Scorbunny running away during a Team Rocket encounter. Goh later devised a strategy combining Quick Attack with a heated pebble kick, enabling Scorbunny to unleash a Fire-type attack and immediately evolve into Raboot.

Raboot's demeanor shifted dramatically after evolution. It became emotionally distant, aloof, and rarely showed overt affection toward Goh. It leaned against walls, avoided group interactions, and often acted independently in battle, ignoring commands. Despite this outward coldness, Raboot retained deep care for Goh and other Pokémon. It secretly trained at night in Hoenn to assist local Pokémon, using dance battles to defend their territory from Loudred. When Goh misinterpreted its independence as rejection and attempted to leave, Raboot intervened to stop him. Raboot displayed strong protective instincts, especially toward Goh's timid Sobble, acting as an older sibling figure by calming it during outbursts and letting it ride on its shoulder. It maintained a friendship with Ash's Pikachu, though their playful interactions lessened after its evolution. Raboot also shared a respectful rivalry with Ash's Riolu (later Lucario), exchanging fist bumps post-evolution.

Raboot evolved into Cinderace during a battle against Oleana's Milotic in Galar. Demonstrating heightened determination, it overcame the opponent's strength, triggering its final evolution. As Cinderace, it reverted to a more openly expressive and cheerful personality, resuming its signature high-fives with Goh.
